How Nabbit keeps your receipts private

Receipts show where your money goes. This page explains, in plain terms, who can see yours, who reads them, where the images live, and what happens to your records if you leave.

Who can see my receipts?

Only people in your company. Nabbit is multi-tenant with strict row-level security: every receipt belongs to one company, and no company can see another company's data. Inside a company, field staff snap receipts, admins review and approve them, and everyone sees only what they should.

Who reads my receipt?

Nabbit uses Anthropic's Claude vision API to read each receipt. It pulls out the vendor, amount, date and tax, and suggests an expense category in under 3 seconds. You confirm before anything goes to your books.

Where do my receipt images live?

Your original receipt images are stored in your own Google Drive or SharePoint, so they stay yours whatever happens to your Nabbit subscription. Your receipt data is stored securely in the cloud and is private to your company.

What happens to my records if I cancel?

You can cancel from your Billing page in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you're never charged again after that. Your data stays accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export everything, and receipts can be exported as a CSV. We don't hold your records hostage. The CRA requires you to keep business records for six years, so you should always be able to get to them.
